October 19, 2007 - 20:55:37 Where can I get a shirt like that... and a van to park, too? What is the hidden meaning? Rating: 5 Sam
October 22, 2007 - 13:24:07 Well the shirt is from Park the Van Records, the label that produces Dr. Dog and a few other bands. You can get a van from anywhere, I think. For advice on vans, watch the van episode of Top Gear. paperdummy
October 23, 2007 - 22:58:43 I did not know that company existed.
I would have to have cable to see Top Gear, and even then am not sure I would get it here. However, we do have vans here... I just need a place to park it. Sam
October 24, 2007 - 14:16:35 Yeah...I like vans. If there were an electric van with a decent range, that would be really cool. Or even a hydrogen van. paperdummy
October 24, 2007 - 18:46:05 When I was searching the Dept of Energy's website looking for automotive propane stations, I was surprised to see that CA actually has hydrogen stations on the map. However, not for public service yet.
The second best is propane. Half the running emmissions of gasoline, no cold start enrichment needed, an "octane" rating of 104+, and it is almost all domestically produced.
In the USA, U-Haul is the biggest outlet (9-5 hours), but in MX, almost every city has multiple 24-hour stations. It is also about $1.70/gallon!
My car and truck are converted for it. It is not as clean as hydrogen, but is as good as it gets rignt now.
