| July 11, 2008 - 10:17:27 Thanks, Dave! The January Goodbye was actually about leaving my day job. The reason that I didn't do any paperdummy comics until April was because I was looking for another job, then starting a new job. I was actually out of work for almost two months. I took some time in February to do the RPM Challenge—to write and record an album of music in one month—but not so much drawing. I didn't even think about the fact that people might assume I was giving up on paperdummy itself and depart. I am glad you were intrepid enough to return. I hope the others do as well. My security measures are about as good as taking your shoes off at the airport—meaning that once in a while a bad guy is prevented from spamming, and meanwhile many innocent people are inconvenienced.
